These offer a chance to experiment, play, and enjoy skills with groups. 'Play' can massively enhance the learning process. After all, let's not take life too seriously, nobody makes it out alive! So far we offer 5 different play shops:
1. Mindul Wildlife Walks: Get some fresh air and some mindfulness every month.
2. Intimacy & Platonic Touch: Exploring boundaries and consent with presence and then playfulness
3. Laughter Yoga: Finding everything funny is a skill and had lots of health benefits!
4. Comfort Zone Challenges: Finding your edges and expanding them in a safe and fun environment.
5. Dance & Discovery: Using movement to self express and learn about yourself and your interactions with others.
6. Catharsis: Learning and practicing skilful emotional movement - a place to move on from stuckness or numbness.
I also teach Dance! Come along to BLUES DANCING: No gender roles, no fancy footwork, just great connection, 'leader-fluid' and awesome music.
MONTHLY MINDFUL NATURE WALK
A morning walk, with an afternoon meditation, shared talking and tea. This is a great way to enjoy the benefits of mindfulness, get some fresh air and some healthy food. A monthly event.

Intimacy: Platonic touch and cuddles! (Play-Shop)
In this class we seek to get intimate, close, squishy and have fun - but all the while learning important lessons in subtle communication by traversing boundaries, practising sensitive touch and intriguing exercises that will challenge your thinking!
Using techniques of mindfulness, empathy and communication we explore physical and physiological boundaries when interacting and playing with others. We aim to create an open and platonic space that allows us to support one another and explore the senses, our emotions and the magic that can happen in the contact between people.

Laughter Yoga: Lighten up and love life! (Day Play-Shop)
Enlightenment. It's not just about wisdom ya'know - it's about play - fun - LAUGHTER is the ultimate expression of wisdom. We use laughter in this workshop to release tension and to connect as a group. Come along and discover the amazing power of laughter to heal, connect and inspire.

Comfort Zone Challenges
At the end of the workshops the learning objectives are:
"This playshop is about challenging yourself, playing at your edges, where the magic happens.
"The risk of upsetting others" is a big element of the day and something we look at in order to help us move past the anxiety associated with 'worrying' about it and instead acting from awareness and confidence, whilst maintaining the ability to work skilfully with emotions. Consideration then become a more clear choice, instead of an anxiety.
The workshop is aimed at anyone who wants to challenge their ideas a little, opening up the possibility of rediscovering a sense of adventure, play and ambition. Some of the other aspects will include:

Dance and Discovery: Irreverent dance into mindfulness (Day Play-Shop)
This is a half day class in 'irreverent dance' designed to bring out your unique style, playfulness and fun sense of self. This is about having fun, bridging connections and building confidence.
We take the afternoon to explore movement, sharing, connection and dance and in the evening (after a dinner break) we come back together and create a social space to play and dance. This is rooted in Blues Dancing and irreverent dance. We don't take styles too seriously - we focus on connection: to yourself, to the music and then to your partner(s).
This workshop is open to any gender, age (over 18), orientation and relationship status. We will be exploring close contact and solo movment,, so please bear this in mind when applying. Also please let us know of any medical conditions.

Catharsis experience: 4 Emotions in one day! (Day Play-Shop)

Do you have space and permission to express and explore uncomfortable emotions, pain, frustration or anxiety? This is what we aim to do at CATHARSIS - which has the power to clear out old 'stuckness' and help us live more fully, welcome in challenges and get in touch with what makes being human so heartbreakingly beautiful.
If you have a feeling of apathy, 'stuckness' or low-level sadness, but not sure what it is, come along and move forward!
If you have a specific issue with loss, regret, anger or anxiety this day may give you the cathartic release needed!
This workshop is open to any gender, age (over 18), orientation and relationship status - everyone can enjoy and benefit from feeling their emotions fully, on a regular basis. We will be getting close, crying, shouting, laughing and holding with each other, so please bear this in mind when applying. Also please let us know of any medical conditions.
