HOW I WORK

These Are The Tools I Use:

1. mental health SKILLS
The mind is at the centre of everything we experience. By slowing down and tuning in we can begin to highlight negative beliefs, change them  and nurture positive states of mind. The tools I use are informed by Mindfulness, compassion and positive thinking., but also from my exploration of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Hypnosis,: CBT, DBT and 'The Work' (Byron Katie) to explore and open up unhelpful thoughts with four meditative questions and finding new perspectives.

2. RELATIONSHIPS sKILLS
Human beings are pack animals. Yet no one has taught us the vital socialisation skills. I believe we  need to learn how to set boundaries and ask for help, amongst other things. This is no simple task and so I help via:
  • Attachment Theory - Building Secure Attachments 
  • Relationship Coaching- using EFT - Emotional Focused Therapy
  • FAIL - Rejection Therapy - Getting out there and meeting people!
  • RAW Relating - Express yourself and ask for what you want (Acknowledge the split)
  • HEARTS - Love Languages
  • WILD - Heart Longing Communication
  • SAFER - Communication for Vulnerability 
  • SORRY - Apology languages 
  • Neil's Pleasure Collaboration ROTA  - Based on the wheel  of consent - to help you gain more pleasure! 
  • Social Skills and Rejection Therapy - I help clients to get out there and learn to have conversations and make friends

NERVOUS SYSTEM REACTION REPROGRAMMING: We can actually overcome trauma and reactions by focusing on the inter-relationship between mind and body: The nervous System:
